On snowy days the world is ………………….

Put on …. ……………clothes, then off you go

      Snow

 Look at the snow

Falling gently down,

Falling on the houses

All around the town.

Listen to the wind

Blowing all the snow,

Blowing round the houses

All down the row.

 Jack Frost

 It’s cold and still,

The wind is away,

And little Jack Frost is busy today.

He nips my cheeks,

He nips my nose

And before I can catch,

Away he goes.

What a rainy day!

 What a rainy day!

The sky is dark and grey.

No sunshine any more,

No playing out-of-doors.

But on a rainy day

I have some other joys-

I read my books and play

At home with all my toys.

The Wind

 Who has seen the wind?

Neither I nor you.

But when the trees are talking

The wind is passing through.

Who has seen the wind?

But when the trees put down their heads,

The wind is passing by.
